golden "milk"

  • 3 cups almond milk (homemade is amazing)

  • 2 tsp almond butter

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

  • Stevia drops to taste

Enjoy this Ayurvedic traditional beverage that aids in digestion and reduces inflammation.

Add all ingredients into a small sauce pan and gently warm over medium heat until hot but not boiling, whisking often. Taste and adjust as desired. Enjoy a cup and allow the rest to cool before refrigerating.

YOGI Tea

Enjoy this tea as it boosts your immune system, aids in digestion, increases circulation, purifies your lungs, and improves liver function.

Add water to a large pot and bring to a boil. Then add all ingredients, minus the black tea, and boil for 30 minutes, minimum. The longer it boils, the stronger the flavors. Add the black teabag and boil for the last five minutes. This unifies the rest of the ingredients to assimilate the medicinal qualities. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy iced or hot. I love to add homemade almond milk or coconut cream with a little bit of honey.
