MORE CONSIDERATIONS

You should be feeling so much better after going through the first Two Week Gut Cleanse! However, if you are still struggling with signs and symptoms, it’s time to dig a little deeper.

Here are a few possibilities to consider:

  • You may simply need a longer cleanse to purge the effects of the inflammatory foods. Gluten, dairy, sugar, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, highly processed foods, hydrogenated oils, refined carbohydrates are heavy hitters in the world of inflammation. Avoiding these as much as possible is the best course of action.

  • It’s very possible that you need to explore other food sources that are problematic. Bio-individuality means that you are unique! You do not metabolize foods and substances the same as anyone else. Because of this, we need to track, asses and pivot in order to identify what foods work and what foods don’t work. Don’t worry, if foods don’t work RIGHT NOW, that doesn’t mean it won’t work forever. Remember, we are rebuilding the gut to create optimal digestion, absorption and excretion.

  • You may have underlying ailments or conditions that need to be addressed. Be sure to check out the “Problem Solving” portion of this cleanse to explore your symptoms! You will be empowered to explore how you can tailor the gut cleanse to meet your needs. Remember, this is the first of many steps you may need to address some root causes. That’s ok! You are on a journey and it’s important to honor that journey. If you need additional support, you know where to find me!
